Savvee Inc. is seeking a technical Architect to support our federal client in a hybrid work environment located in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will lead the design, implementation, and oversight of the client’s architecture and associated system components. This role is responsible for ensuring the technical solution aligns with enterprise standards, supports portfolio management objectives, and delivers a scalable, maintainable, and high-performing system environment. This candidate will work closely with development teams, program leadership, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, guide system design decisions, and ensure successful delivery of application capabilities.

Leading design, development, and implementation of enterprise architecture solutions.

Defining and maintaining system architecture aligned with federal and enterprise operating environment standards.

Overseeing technical design and execution of application development activities.

Translating functional and business requirements into system architecture and technical specifications.

Guiding development teams on system design, technical frameworks, and architectural best practices.

Ensuring system scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.

Overseeing integration of application components, databases, and supporting technologies.

Reviewing and validating technical designs, code, and implementation approaches.

Ensuring system documentation is complete, current, and accurately reflects system architecture and functionality.

Supporting application requirements activities and ensuring system capabilities achieve intended outcomes.

Identifying technical risks and recommending mitigation strategies.

Collaborating with stakeholders, program managers, and developers to ensure alignment between technical solutions and program objectives.

Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.

Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related IT field

Ten or more years of related IT experience
-
Ten or more years of experience designing, implementing, and overseeing complex technical, software, or enterprise architecture solutions

Experience in Angular, C#, .NET, SQL, HTML, Bootstrap, CSS, JavaScript, and Less technologies

Experience supporting development and implementation of enterprise webbased applications

Strong experience translating requirements into system architecture and technical design

Proven experience overseeing development execution and guiding technical teams

Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and system design best practices

Experience ensuring alignment with enterprise operating environments and standards

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders

Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, dynamic environment

Must have the ability to obtain the client’s Public Trust clearance

Proven familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AIassisted tools

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience supporting federal programs or enterprise system environments
