We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Assurance Associate to join our team. This role is designed for individuals beginning their public accounting careers and looking to build foundational technical, professional, and firm-specific skills through hands-on experience and mentorship.

Position Overview
As an Assurance Associate I, you will perform basic engagement procedures under close supervision while developing your understanding of accounting principles, firm methodology, and client service expectations. You will receive frequent feedback and guidance to support your professional growth.
Assurance Responsibilities
- Perform basic audit, review, compilation, and financial statement preparation procedures under direct supervision.
- Learn and apply firm engagement tools, including audit software, PPC methodology, workpaper indexing, confirmations, and analytics.
- Prepare workpapers that clearly document procedures performed, evidence obtained, exceptions identified, and conclusions reached.
- Complete routine engagement areas such as cash testing, confirmations, basic substantive procedures, tie-outs, and administrative tasks.
- Develop an understanding of core concepts including independence, confidentiality, professional skepticism, and audit evidence standards.
- Ask timely questions when expectations, procedures, or client information are unclear.
- Begin communicating with clients regarding routine PBC (Prepared By Client) requests, follow-ups, and open items, with appropriate oversight.
- Assist in drafting simple financial statements, disclosures, and client deliverables.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or actively pursuing)
- CPA eligible or actively pursuing CPA certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Effective communication and willingness to learn in a team environment
Pay: $58,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
