Big Creek Resources is seeking experienced Water Transfer Operator- Supervisor to join our team! We are looking for experienced, hardworking and career driven personnel. Must have open availability and flexible to work 13-16 hour shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Functions of a Supervisor for Water Transfer:
- Maintain customer jobs to ensure projects are being carried out according to the scope of the project, which includes site visits to customer locations, audit the work performance of field employees to ensure everything is working properly.
- Conduct safety awareness sessions to promote a safe working environment for their field employees.
- Responsible for providing guidance, support, and training to all field leads.
- The field supervisor will maintain effective communication between the Leads and Operators and be their main source of contact.
- Demonstrate outstanding leadership skills by providing guidance and support to staff in case of conflicts and work-related issue
- Prepare effective training programs including the training collaterals for leads and operators.
- Audit, track and report safety JSAs and track safety procedures are being followed on a weekly basis to the Operations Manager.
- Responsible for overseeing the entire set up and tear down of jobs. This also includes equipment and materials to be organized after set up’s and tear down’s.
- Responsible for inventory for each piece of equipment and material used for each job. This may also include keeping inventory count for the yard/shop.
- Responsible for reporting damaged material and broken equipment to the operations manager and may perform light maintenance to equipment.
- Oversee field employee performance and attendance and deliver/manage corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee performance evaluations and appraisals for subordinates.
- Assist in interviewing and recruiting new professionals.
- Promote a healthy and positive work environment.
- Prepare work schedules on a regular basis and maintain necessary documentation.
- Evaluate performance level of field subordinates for quality purposes.
- Help improve overall operations for safety and cost efficiency.
- Monitor and manage expenses within the assigned budget.
- Must attend weekly operation meetings
- Keep open communication with your operations manager when you are unable to or unavailable to be on call
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Experience & Training:
- Industry experience required
- Safeland Certification required
- Must have a Valid Driver License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Certifications for Telehandler, skidsteer and H2S (preferred but will train)
- Must have a minimum of 1 year water transfer experience
- Must have supervisory experience
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to pass our pre-employment screening
- Physical requirements may include bending, standing, crouching and safely lifting up to 75 lbs repeatedly
- Long periods of driving
- Required to work outdoors and in inclement weather
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with all team members
- Ability to work independently and objectively
- Must be willing to be on call
- Willing to work a 13-16 hour rotating shift schedule which will include working weekends
- Willing to work in a diverse and team-oriented environment
- Detailed oriented, dependable and problem solving skills
