Schedule: Rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and overnights

Responsibilities

Review, verify, and enter medication orders accurately and efficiently

Monitor for drug interactions, contraindications, and medication safety concerns

Prepare and verify IV medications and sterile compounds

Support pain management therapies, including patient-controlled analgesia (PCA)

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and pharmacy best practices

Provide clinical recommendations related to medication therapy management
Required Qualifications

Active Virginia Pharmacist License required at the time of application

Minimum of 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience

EPIC charting experience required
