We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the smooth operation of our food service environment, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, including basic cooking tasks and food handling.
- Help with bussing tables and ensuring dining areas are clean and presentable.
- Support catering events by preparing necessary items and cleaning up afterward.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary arts is a plus.
- Familiarity with banquet service and catering operations is advantageous.
- Strong cleaning skills with an emphasis on maintaining high standards of hygiene.
