Astra is a farm-to-table restaurant in Buda with a wood-fired oven and produce sourced from our own mini farm and local growers. We're looking for a Server/Bartender who can work both front-of-house roles and keep pace on a busy floor.
What you'll do
- Work either the server or bartender position, depending on the shift
- Cover open or close shifts — flexibility across both is required
- Help with prep and dish before and during service
- Provide excellent table service and genuine hospitality
- Learn the menu inside and out — ingredients, preparation, sourcing — so you can speak to it confidently with guests
- Read the table and manage expectations to deliver the best possible guest experience
- Work with urgency during rushes without cutting corners
- Keep your station and the floor clean throughout service
- Show up on time, every time, with a good attitude
What we're looking for
- Prior server or bartender experience preferred
- Comfortable moving between FOH roles as needed
- Reliable, coachable, and works well under pressure
- Genuine interest in food and hospitality
Pay
- Base: $8/hr
- With tips: $16–20/hr average, usually $17.5-19.5
Availability
- Part-time
- Must be available for both opening and closing shifts
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
