This is a permanent, Class B, secretarial position working eight (8) hours per
day at the negotiated rate of $18.43 following the probationary period.
Typing, filing, telephone skills, computer skills, email communication, virtual
conferencing, and record keeping are required. The successful candidate must
be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; must
be comfortable using virtual conferencing platforms such as Zoom; must
possess excellent organizational and communication skills; and must have the
ability to work well with staff, students, families, and the general public.
This position will support the Virtual Academy with primary responsibilities
related to student wellness checks, student and family communication,
documentation, record keeping, attendance monitoring, and required follow-
up. The successful candidate must be comfortable communicating directly
with students and families through virtual conferencing, telephone, and email.
Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, consistent follow-through, and the
ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines are required.
Testing may be required.
