We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Development Professional to drive growth and expand our market presence within the construction business. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and develop innovative sales strategies to meet company goals. Your enthusiasm for creating meaningful client relationships and your strategic mindset will be key to unlocking new revenue streams and strengthening our competitive edge. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach efforts
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand CK Construction's customer base and increase sales revenue
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software such as Salesforce
- Assist with negotiations to close deals effectively while ensuring mutual value for clients and the company
- Attend networking events, industry associations, chamber of commerce meetings, and trade shows to represent the company
- Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored solutions for potential customers
- Track industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to guide strategic decisions
- Research upcoming commercial developments and capital improvement projects.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales pipelines, and market intelligence to inform future strategies
- Maintain knowledge of competitors and market conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a business development position, demonstrating a solid understanding and use of established sales strategies and methodologies.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles with a track record of achieving targets
- Understanding of the construction business and terminology
- Strong skills in negotiation, strategic planning, and project management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships
- Knowledge of marketing principles and techniques to support outreach efforts
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop innovative approaches for growth
- Familiarity with CRM tools, sales automation, and data analysis is highly desirable
- Existing relationships within the commercial construction industry are highly desirable

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
