Compassionate ABA & Therapeutic Services (CABATS) is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Independent Contractor to join our growing multidisciplinary team at our Springfield, Virginia clinic.

Responsibilities
The SLP Contractor will:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
- Develop individualized, functional treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based speech-language therapy.
- Address receptive/expressive language, functional communication, articulation, social/pragmatic communication, AAC, and other clinically appropriate areas.
- Complete progress reports, reassessments, and required clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with caregivers to support skill generalization.
- Coordinate care with BCBAs, OTs, physicians, schools, and other providers when appropriate.
- Provide clinical guidance and supervision to assigned SLPAs when applicable.
- Maintain documentation in accordance with professional, payer, and company requirements.
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration while maintaining appropriate SLP scope of practice.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards consistent with ASHA and applicable Virginia requirements.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Current Virginia SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred/required as applicable to assigned responsibilities.
- Pediatric or developmental-disability experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with autism, AAC, language disorders, and social communication is highly valued.
- Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining independent clinical judgment.
- Experience supervising SLPAs is a plus.
