Rowdy Hog Pickleball is looking for a dependable, energetic team member to help create a great experience for our players. This position is ideal for a college student, someone with a daytime job looking for extra income, or anyone who enjoys sports and working with people.
We're looking for someone who is reliable, organized, and enjoys being around people. If you've played organized sports, understand how games and tournaments work, and like being part of a team, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Help oversee court activities during open play, leagues, and tournaments
- Welcome players and answer questions
- Assist with tournament operations using a laptop
- Enter scores and keep tournament brackets updated
- Call players to their assigned courts
- Sweep courts and perform general cleaning to help keep the facility looking its best
- Assist with setup and cleanup for leagues, tournaments, and special events
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
- Assist staff with general operations as needed
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly with a positive attitude
- Comfortable using a laptop and learning tournament software
- Able to stay organized while managing multiple tasks
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of pickleball rules and scoring
- Previous experience playing organized or competitive sports
- Customer service or hospitality experience
Schedule
This is a part-time position with evening and weekend hours only.
Availability Requirements:
- Weekday Evenings: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturdays: Available between 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM (actual shifts vary based on leagues, tournaments, and events)
- Sundays: Available between 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Flexible scheduling is available, but applicants must be available to work evenings and weekends on a regular basis.
