Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Infant One Year Old Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment tailored specifically for infants &/or 1 year olds. Your primary focus will be fostering developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities, attentive caregiving, and positive interactions. Duties
- Implement daily lesson plans that promote early childhood development, including motor skills, language acquisition, social-emotional growth, and sensory exploration.
- Provide attentive infant care by feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring overall health and safety at all times.
- Create a warm and welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence among one-year-olds.
- Monitor each child's progress and communicate developmental milestones with parents or guardians regularly.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that adheres to health and safety standards, including proper sanitation of toys and equipment.
- Use positive behavior management techniques to guide children’s social interactions and emotional regulation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan enriching activities aligned with childhood development best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety protocols, and childcare policies at all times.
Experience
- Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a daycare, preschool, or nannying setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development stages for one-year-olds and effective caregiving techniques.
- Classroom experience managing young children in an educational or childcare environment is desirable.
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies tailored for infants and young children.
- Experience implementing early childhood education curricula focused on sensory play, motor skills development, and language acquisition.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with parents, guardians, and team members about each child's growth.
