Fulfillment Associate Responsibilities
- Perform order picking using RF scanners, barcode scanning systems, and manual methods to ensure precise selection of items.
- The job duties of a warehouse associate may include:
- Receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse.
- Ensuring accurate and efficient fulfillment of orders, including picking, packing, and shipping.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy by conducting physical counts and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
- Ensuring products are packed properly to meet our standards
- Keeping the warehouse organized and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assisting in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks.
- Monitoring and reporting any damaged or defective products, equipment, or facilities.
- Collaborating with other warehouse staff and management to improve warehouse processes and procedures.
- Maintaining records of inventory, orders, and shipments using inventory management software and other systems.
- Performing other duties as assigned by warehouse management.
Fulfillment Associate Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in order fulfillment tasks.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners confidently.
- Able to use barcode scanning technology
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of standard operating procedures
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and order calculations.
- Prior experience with shipping & receiving procedures, inventory management systems, and warehouse distribution is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control during order picking & packing processes.
