We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Education Teacher and/or Lead Teacher to join a Montessori school in Boston, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for an early childhood educator who enjoys creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children.
The position will begin on a contract basis, with the goal of transitioning the successful candidate into a permanent position.

Provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive classroom environment for young children.

Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Support a classroom environment consistent with Montessori principles and practices.
-
Encourage children's independence, curiosity, confidence, and love of learning.
-
Observe and respond to individual children's developmental needs and interests.
-
Maintain consistent classroom routines and expectations.
-
Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
-
Communicate professionally with parents and guardians regarding children's development and classroom experiences.
-
Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to support the needs of the classroom and school community.
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
-
Follow all applicable health, safety, and childcare regulations.
-
Complete required documentation and classroom responsibilities in a timely manner.

Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and other school activities as required.

Current Massachusetts EEC (Department of Early Education and Care) certification is required.

Experience working in an early childhood education or daycare setting preferred.

Experience in a Montessori environment is preferred but not required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Patient, dependable, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
