Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on, dedicated AZ Certified Assisted Living Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a 10-bed group home located in north-central Phoenix near 16th St and Bell Rd. This role is vital in ensuring the delivery of exceptional senior care, maintaining compliance with health regulations, and fostering a warm, safe environment for residents. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in long-term care or assisted living settings, and a passion for enhancing seniors' quality of life. As an AZ Certified Assisted Living Manager, you will coordinate care services, supervise staff, manage facility operations, and ensure adherence to all regulatory standards. The current census is 5 on personal care sercvices. No behavioral issues.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise care teams to deliver personalized resident care that meets individual needs, including care for residents with Alzheimer's and dementia.
- Regularly update comprehensive care plans tailored to each resident’s health status and preferences with facility RN.
- Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate documentation for resident records, care plans, incident reports, and regulatory compliance reports.
- All necessary documementation is in place for ADHS compliance.
- Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations, health policies, and disability services standards across all aspects of facility management.
- Foster a positive environment by managing staff recruitment, training, supervision, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources to support residents’ overall well-being.
- Monitor safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to uphold the highest standards of resident safety and facility cleanliness.
- Lead efforts in managing emergency responses and coordinating with local health authorities as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid AZ Assisted Living Manager certification is required.
- Experience in assisted living management with a focus on senior care.
- Proven supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams within healthcare or residential care settings.
- Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations, dementia care practices, and health regulation policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Background in nursing or healthcare leadership with experience in Alzheimer’s care, memory care, or home & community care is desirable but not required.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with residents’ families, staff members, healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies.
