Position Summary
As our Lead Master HVAC Technician, you'll be the technical leader of our company.
You'll help establish the culture, service standards, and reputation that will define our business for years to come.
Working alongside ownership, you'll have a voice in building the company, developing technicians, and creating an organization that customers trust and employees are proud to be part of.
Qualifications
Required:
- Current New Jersey Master HVACR License
- Minimum 6–8 years of residential and commercial HVAC experience
- EPA Universal Certification
- Clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience with installations, replacements, maintenance, and service
- Ability to pull permits and ensure code compliance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Leadership mindset with a desire to mentor others
Preferred:
- NATE Certification
- Experience leading technicians or managing field operations
- Experience with service management software such as ServiceTitan or Housecall Pro
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems
- Perform quality installations and replacements
- Pull permits and ensure compliance with all New Jersey codes and regulations
- Lead field operations and maintain high workmanship standards
- Mentor and train technicians and apprentices
- Perform quality control inspections
- Help establish service procedures and operational best practices
- Work closely with ownership to grow the business
- Assist with recruiting and developing future technicians
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience on every call
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity
