Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Stocker/Cashier to join our dynamic team in a retail store environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our shelves are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing to enhance the shopping experience for our customers. This position requires communication skills and a passion for customer service, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

**As our store is open 365 days a year from 9 am to 10 pm (except certain holidays), weeknights, weekends and holidays are required. (Weekday morning shifts are particularly helpful.)

Duties
- Efficiently stock shelves with products, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Must be comfortable using a ladder to retrieve cases of wine, liquor, etc. and lift up to 50 lbs. in general.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Perform merchandising tasks to create attractive displays that promote sales.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Utilize POS systems for sales transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom, sales floor, bathrooms and register area.
- Ensure no alcohol/THC beverages are sold to those under the age of 21 or to any intoxicated persons.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery/liquor store operations is a plus but not required.
- Supervising experience is a plus (not required), demonstrating leadership capabilities within a retail setting.
Pay: From $15.49 per hour
