Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor such as moving supplies, equipment, and materials around the site
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to assist with tasks like framing, formwork construction, concrete pouring, and finishing
- Support installation of rebar, metal stud framing, drywall, stucco, tile laying, and flooring as needed
- Help with concrete mixing, pouring, cutting, finishing, and pumping to ensure smooth surfaces and proper curing
- Follow blueprint specifications and interpret technical drawings for accurate project execution
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to construction workplace safety regulations and protocols
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction tools and equipment
- Experience interpreting construction plans, schematics, and blueprints
- Knowledge of concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete cutting, and finishing techniques
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes (preferred)
- Strong understanding of safety regulations specific to construction sites
- Skilled in using hand tools like hammers, saws, caulking guns, trowels, and power tools for various tasks
- Experience working on diverse construction projects including renovation, restoration, roofing, masonry, carpentry (including trim carpentry), metal stud framing, plastering, welding, tile installation, flooring installation, and concrete pumping
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment
- Capable of interpreting technical drawings and schematics for precise work execution
- Valid commercial driver’s license (preferred) for transporting materials or equipment when necessary
