Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse specializing in Quality Assurance (RN-QA) to uphold the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance within our healthcare organization. The RN-QA will play a vital role in monitoring, evaluating, and improving clinical processes, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations, and maintaining the integrity of medical documentation. Responsibilities/Duties
- OASIS review and correction
- Chart audits
- Coding validation
- Documentation compliance
- PDGM reimbursement optimization
- Physician order review
- Quality Improvement (QAPI)
- Survey readiness
- Staff education and coaching
- Monitoring Medicare Conditions of Participation compliance
Qualifications
- Current Illinois RN license
- 3+ years home health experience
- Extensive OASIS-E1 experience
- QA/chart audit experience
- ICD-10 coding knowledge
- Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience
- Knowledge of CMS Conditions of Participation
- Experience preparing for IDPH/CMS surveys
