Summary of Functions
Provides exceptional guest service by warmly welcoming guests to the Spa, scheduling spa and salon services, assisting guests with questions regarding spa services and products, and supporting front desk operations. Responsible for guest check-in and check-out processes, retail sales, reservation coordination, and maintaining a professional and welcoming spa environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures compliance with Kalispel Tribe of Indians Internal Controls and Northern Quest and departmental policies and procedures.
Promotes and effectively sells spa products and services.
Schedules spa and salon appointments for individuals and groups using spa reservation software systems.
Recommends and upsells spa services and retail products to guests.
Accurately inputs, accesses, and maintains guest and reservation information in computer systems.
Operates the Spa point-of-sale system and accurately handles cash and credit card transactions.
Maintains professionalism and guest focus while working independently with minimal supervision.
Provides exceptional guest service while remaining calm, courteous, and attentive to guest needs.
Promotes positive guest relations with all individuals entering the Spa reception area.
Maintains concentration, prioritizes tasks, and makes concise decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Greets each guest warmly and provides a professional farewell experience.
Dispenses and serves wine in accordance with applicable policies and certifications.
Answers telephone calls promptly using established spa telephone etiquette standards.
Accommodates guest requests courteously and follows through to completion.
Resolves guest concerns professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
Provides treatment providers with accurate daily schedules and guest arrival updates.
Notifies Spa management of maintenance concerns and service recovery opportunities.
Maintains accuracy and security of all monies, banks, and assigned keys.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout shifts.
Uses guest names whenever possible to personalize the guest experience.
Attends all required meetings and training sessions.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
May be required to participate as a panelist for Internal Review Hearings.
Performs additional duties as assigned by management.

Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum three (3) years of retail or guest service experience in an upscale spa, salon, boutique, hospitality, or similar luxury environment preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and related software applications.
Excellent guest service, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate professionally using proper grammar and courteous communication.
Ability to type and write proficiently to produce accurate and timely work.
Basic mathematical and cash handling skills.
Ability to multitask between front desk operations, guest service, and operational needs.
Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with coworkers and other departments.
Other Requirements
Regular attendance is essential to the successful performance of this position.
Ability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
Maintain complete knowledge of all spa services and retail products.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Work Permit.
Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) certification required.
Washington State Food Worker Card required.
Completion of NQRC Alcohol Server Training required.
Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B vaccinations required.

Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift.
Frequent verbal communication and active listening required.

Occasional sitting, standing, stooping, crouching, and stair/ramp use.
Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, and focus adjustment abilities.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this position, the employee may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, wet and humid conditions, and outdoor weather conditions. The work environment is generally indoors with moderate noise levels.
