PAY $25+ DOE, ROTATING SHIFT
Manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of the plant's electrical systems. Maximize machinery uptime, ensure compliance with safety codes (like NEC and OSHA), and lead a team of industrial electricians to support continuous, high-volume.
Core Responsibilities
- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Oversee routine inspections and troubleshooting of electrical control panels, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), variable frequency drives (VFDs), and heavy-duty extruder or pipe-forming motors.
- Team Leadership: Manage shift schedules, assign daily work orders, and mentor a team of industrial electricians.
- Safety & Code Compliance: Enforce strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, high-voltage safety procedures, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Production Support: Collaborate with production and plant engineering teams to minimize equipment downtime and optimize manufacturing workflow.
- Inventory & Budgeting: Manage department budgets, track spare parts inventory, and coordinate with vendors for specialized electrical equipment.
Requirements
- Education: preferred, but not required: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or completion of a certified electrical apprenticeship program.
- Experience: 2 years of journey-level electrical experience, preferably within a heavy industrial or continuous manufacturing environment.
- Licensing: Electrician license
- Technical Skills: Advanced troubleshooting capabilities with three-phase power, AC/DC motors, automation, and industrial control systems
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
