As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials or permissions when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site guidelines.

Support access control and security-related operations at a port-related location, remaining attentive to changing conditions, vehicle traffic, and/or restricted areas during assigned shifts.
Minimum Requirements:

A TSA issued TWIC is required.

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
