Overview
Our small boutique law firm in downtown Syracuse is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Legal Assistant to provide support to attorneys in litigation matters. We focus on family law (custody, divorces, orders of protection, child support), international law, general civil litigation and criminal defense. The ideal candidate possesses strong legal administrative skills and organizational abilities and is capable of working independently with little direction. Tasks are file management, calendar management, telephone coverage and client contact. The firm will train a suitable candidate. This is a hybrid position. Office presence is preferred and encouraged but part time remote work is permissible.
