QC Shipping Inspector

Job Responsibilities:
1. The shipping clerk will be responsible for ensuring the provided shipping ticket covers all aspects of the job, including ship loose materials either from the shop floor or provided by the warehouse. Printing off the applicable drawings will be a key tool to success.
2. The shipping clerk will inspect units for 100% completion and inform Project Managers and other key personnel that items are not complete 24 hours in advance of shipment. This includes but is not limited to all NDE, Paperwork, production steps and/or potential shipping issues that could cause a delay. A Pre-shipment walkthrough with the PM will help identify deficiencies or areas of concern.
3. The Shipping clerk will direct forklift drivers on outbound shipments and may need to coordinate with drivers and/or brokers. The shipping clerk will need to ensure all equipment is loaded on the correct vehicle.
4. The shipping clerk will be required to take several photographs covering a 360° view inside and outside) of the unit once secured to the vehicle. Pictures are to be uploaded in to the server within 24 hours of shipment along with a signed Ship Ticket.
5. The shipping clerk will be communicating daily with Project Managers, Warehouse, Drafting/Engineering, Quality Control members, and Department Managers on issues highlighting intercompany needs to maintain top-tier and ship dates.
6. During no shipping operations, the Shipping Clerk will assist Warehouse for upcoming ship loose items.
Job Requirements
· Employee shall have at least three years in Oil & Gas equipment fabrication.
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
· Must work in inclement weather.
· Must be able to communicate to all personnel promptly either via verbal or written communication.
· Work 10-hour shifts with some occasional overtime, including nights and weekends.
· Must be self-motivated and have great problem-solving skills.
