Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team, primarily working the fryer and grill station. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food quality, maintaining a clean work environment, and performing well under pressure during high-volume shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items on the fryer and grill stations to restaurant standards.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Ensure food is cooked and plated accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of cooking stations.
- Monitor food temperatures and ensure safe food handling procedures.
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff.
- Assist with prep work and other duties as assigned by the chef or kitchen manager.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
- Maintain proper rotation of food and minimize waste.
Qualifications:
- Willing to train the right motivated individual.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
