Inside Sales Associate
Company: Master Fire Prevention Systems Department: Sales Location: On-site, NYC (serving Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island) Reports to: Sales Manager Employment type: Full-time
About Master Fire
Master Fire Prevention has protected NYC restaurants, property managers, and business owners for over 50 years. The group designs, installs, inspects, and services fire suppression systems, fire sprinklers, portable fire extinguishers, kitchen exhaust ventilation, and hood and duct cleaning across five operating entities. We are a family-owned business with a loyal client base and a large untapped opportunity to grow existing accounts and reactivate clients who do not yet know everything we do.
The Role
We are hiring an Inside Sales Associate to drive revenue by phone. This is a high-volume calling seat: roughly 70 percent outbound to warm leads and existing clients, and 30 percent inbound. You will work an auto-dialer, manage every contact in our CRM, set and close service and inspection work, and generate new leads. The mix of recurring inspection contracts, repair work, and cross-sell across five fire-protection lines means there is always a reason to pick up the phone.
This is a build seat. You are not inheriting a polished playbook. You will help shape scripts, call standards, and pipeline discipline as we stand up a real sales function.
What You Will Do
- Make a high volume of outbound calls each day to warm leads, past clients, and the existing customer base using an auto-dialer
- Handle inbound calls promptly, qualify the need, quote where appropriate, and book the work
- Cross-sell and upsell across all five Master Fire lines: suppression, sprinkler, extinguishers, exhaust ventilation, and duct cleaning, so a single-service client becomes a multi-service account
- Follow up on open estimates and proposals until they close or die, with no lead left to go cold
- Generate new leads through outbound prospecting, referrals, and reactivation of lapsed accounts
- Log every call, contact, note, and next step in the CRM so the pipeline is accurate and nothing falls through
- Hit daily and weekly activity and revenue targets (calls, connects, appointments set, jobs booked, revenue closed)
- Coordinate with scheduling, service, and inspection teams to confirm the work gets on the calendar cleanly
What Success Looks Like
- Consistent daily dial and connect volume against target
- Estimates followed up on schedule, measured close rate on quoted work Existing accounts expanded into additional Master Fire services
- Clean, current, and complete CRM records on every account
- Recurring inspection contracts have been protected and grown
What You Bring
- 2 or more years in inside sales, telesales, or high-volume phone-based sales or account management
- Hands-on CRM experience (logging activity, managing a pipeline, working tasks and follow-ups)
- Comfort working an auto-dialer and sustaining high call volume through a full day
- Strong phone presence: clear, confident, persuasive, and quick to build rapport Discipline to follow up relentlessly and keep records accurate without being chased
- Ability to learn a technical product line and explain it simply to a non-technical buyer Organized, self-directed, and motivated by activity and results
Nice to Have
- Spanish-speaking is a big plus
- Experience selling fire protection, life safety, HVAC, mechanical, facilities, or other B2B field services
- Familiarity with NYC commercial compliance and inspection cycles (FDNY, NFPA, building department)
Compensation and Schedule
- Base pay plus commission, with on-target earnings of 55,000 to 60,000 dollars Full-time, on-site, standard business hours
- Benefits per company policy
