Knight’s Lights is hiring 2–3 established trade contractors for premium residential Christmas light installations across Northwest Arkansas. We are looking for roofers, painters, window cleaners, estimators, handymen, and other capable tradespeople who are confident at heights, take ownership of their work, and know how to communicate with homeowners.
This is not a traditional entry-level helper job. It is a short, high-output seasonal partnership for people who already know how to work hard, solve field problems, protect a customer’s property, and deliver an outstanding lighting display.
What You’ll Do
- Install custom-fit roofline, gutter, ridge, hip, tree, bush, post, stake-light, wreath, and garland displays
- Work from ladders up to 32 feet and on roofs up to a 12/12 pitch using required safety equipment
- Follow approved designs, mockups, work orders, and installation standards
- Use Housecall Pro for work orders, photos, checklists, and job completion
- Communicate professionally with customers and keep the job moving without constant owner supervision
Lead Installers will direct the crew, serve as the primary customer contact, complete final documentation, and safely tow our loaded 14-by-7-foot tandem-axle trailer. Lead Installers must possess a reliable and professional vehicle (preferably truck) that can safely tow our cargo trailer to each job site. Secondary Installers only need to furnish a tool belt and basic tools.
Pay & Opportunity
Compensation is production-based. Strong technicians have historically earned $30+ per production hour, but earnings vary by role, job mix, efficiency, and season volume. Individual jobs will not all produce the same effective hourly rate; the opportunity is designed to balance across the season.

Schedule
- Season: Oct 12, 2026–Dec 11, 2026
- January Takedowns: Jan 3-10
- Paid practical evaluation/training on Saturday Oct 3, 2026
- Approximately four days per week, filling Monday forward (schedule is relatively flexible)
- Meet near Joyce Boulevard in Fayetteville by 8:00 a.m. each working day
- Workdays end when the scheduled jobs are complete
- Occasional Saturday work may be offered if contractor desires.
Requirements
- Reliable, responsible, and easy to communicate with
- Established trade, field-service, construction, or contract-work experience
- Confident on 32-foot ladders and roofs
- Professional with homeowners and proud of the finished result
- Reliable transportation to our shop, smartphone, and cellular data
- Willing to provide a W-9 and authorize a background check
- Basic tools, suitable workwear, and willingness to learn required safety equipment
- Lead candidates need a reliable tow-capable vehicle and safe trailer-handling experience, drivers license, and vehicle insurance.
