At Jack's Body Shop We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Painter/ Prepper to join our team. The Auto Body Paint Prepper will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting by performing a variety of tasks, including sanding, masking, and cleaning surfaces. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, have a strong work ethic, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepares vehicles for painting by removing parts, sanding surfaces, masking areas not to be painted, and cleaning surfaces using solvents and other cleaning agents
· Mixes and applies filler, primer, and paint to vehicles using spray equipment and hand tools
· Ensures all areas are properly prepped, primed, and painted to match customer specifications
· Maintains a clean and organized work area, including cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment
· Maintains inventory of supplies and orders materials as needed
· Communicates with other members of the team to ensure work is completed on schedule and to quality standards
Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
