JOB SUMMARY:
Perform shipping and receiving for industrial equipment. Work in a warehouse environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ship equipment via various shipping companies
- Verify, pack and load equipment for shipping
- Identify and tag equipment for our tracking database
- Receive equipment from customers and vendors
- Manage outside equipment repairs
- Work with Customer Service, Sales, Repair Technicians, Customers, Vendors to help resolve any issues
- Utilize job tracking system to update equipment status
- Work safely and follow safety rules and procedures
- Keep warehouse and work area clean, neat, and orderly
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
- Back up as needed and where qualified as directed by immediate supervisor or higher-level management.
- Assist with inventory, general housekeeping, help with customers when necessary and other duties and projects as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school degree
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures properly
- Computer experience
- Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to read and comprehend
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
- Ability to perform work during prolonged sitting and standing up to 8 hours; Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling and repetitive motion also required
- Must be proficient in English and have excellent oral, written, and communication/presentation skills
- Must have excellent teamwork skills
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and operate in a drug- and alcohol-free workplace
WORK SCHEDULE
Full Time, 40 hours per week typically 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Opportunities for overtime work.
