Qualified Rate : $43.6 Per hour

Dock Clerk – Guaranteed Extra Board
Job Summary
The Dock Clerk – Guaranteed Extra Board is responsible for performing duties for the Duluth and Two Harbors Ore Docks such as inventory management (processing train and vessel movements). The role communicates with internal and external customers and vendors, ensures scheduling, performs warehouse duties including operating a fork lift, and maintains a variety of records. Furthermore, work assignments are determined in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Major Responsibilities
Record, maintain, and provide train and vessel arrival, departure, and other related information
Maintain Working Boards, including creating bulletins and awarding positions, bumping, vacancies and any other occurrence
Working Conditions
Ability to stoop, bend, climb, kneel, crouch, balance, and walk on uneven surfaces
Requirements
Experience or general knowledge of Systems, Applications and Products (SAP), SharePoint, Excel, Access, Word and Power Point
Training
The incumbent participates in a training program which involves job shadowing and practical application and typically takes 45 working days to complete. The work location is at the Duluth Docks’ headquarters and the incumbent also supports both the Duluth and Two Harbors locations and may need to fill vacancies at both ports.
This position is a unionized position. As such, pay and benefits are governed by the applicable collective agreement.
