Job Summary
The Case Aide plays a vital role in supporting case management teams by assisting youth in navigating various services and resources. This position involves working closely with individuals and families to ensure they receive the necessary support for their unique situations. The Case Aide will engage with youth in various settings, providing guidance, encouragement, and assistance in achieving their goals related to health, housing, and overall well-being.
Duties
- Provide crisis intervention and management support to clients experiencing immediate challenges.
- Facilitate mentoring sessions to empower clients and promote personal development.
- Conduct motivational interviewing to help youth identify their goals and create actionable plans.
- Collaborate with case managers to develop individualized service plans tailored to each youth's needs.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress and share insights on effective strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and service referrals.
Skills
- Strong crisis management abilities to effectively handle urgent situations.
- Experience in behavioral health settings or child welfare systems is beneficial.
- Proficient in mentoring techniques that encourage youth growth and self-sufficiency.
- Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques to facilitate youth engagement.
- Excellent communication skills for building rapport with youth from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a client-focused approach.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
