Community Living Connections (CLC) is seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team as Supported Living Specialists (SLS). In this role, you will provide one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live independently and actively participate in their communities.
Whether you have previous caregiving experience or are looking to start a rewarding new career, we provide paid training to help you succeed.
Provide individualized support in clients' homes and throughout the community.
Assist with activities of daily living.
Support community outings, appointments, and recreational activities.
Encourage independence, personal growth, and achievement of individual goals.
Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
Transport individuals safely to appointments and community activities.
Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a background check.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in caregiving, direct support, customer service, hospitality, education, retail, healthcare, childcare, or human services is helpful but not required.
$17.00/hour for Full-Time positions
$16.00/hour for Part-Time positions
