Activity Director – Senior Living Community
A premier senior living community is seeking an energetic, creative, and compassionate Activity Director to join our team!

Our community uses monthly themes to inspire creativity and provide a variety of meaningful social, educational, recreational, and wellness programs for our residents.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have a warm, positive, and enthusiastic personality.
- Enjoy working directly with seniors and creating meaningful experiences.
- Be creative and comfortable planning activities, special events, outings, celebrations, and educational opportunities.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact effectively with residents, families, guests, team members, and referral sources.
- Have strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Be comfortable using technology to develop monthly activity calendars, newsletters, and other resident communications.
- Utilize creativity, art, crafts, design, imagination, and innovative planning to develop engaging programs and events.
- Be able to perform and complete all essential duties of the position satisfactorily.
- Have and maintain a safe driving record as you will need to drive our bus.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with the senior population, preferably in assisted living, long-term care, or another healthcare setting.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for serving as a Director of Activities in an assisted living community.
- Strong working knowledge of computers and technology.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving history required.
