Assisting Hands Home Care is looking for a Client Care Coordinator / Caregiver Recruiter to join our growing team in Mechanicsburg.
Recruiting will be your primary focus. You will play a critical role in building, growing, and maintaining our team of exceptional caregivers who provide care, companionship, and support to seniors in our community.
You will be one of the first people prospective caregivers meet when they connect with Assisting Hands. Your ability to connect with people, identify great candidates, and create a positive experience will directly impact the quality of care we provide to our clients.
But this position is about more than recruiting. We are a team, and everyone pitches in. You will also help with scheduling, caregiver and client communication, office needs, and other responsibilities that help keep our growing business running smoothly.

What You'll Do
Your primary responsibility will be recruiting and building our exceptional Care Team, but you will also become an important part of our day-to-day operations and will work closely with the owners and other members of our team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Recruiting & Caregiver Team Building
- Recruiting assigned number of new caregivers each week through Indeed, social media, job fairs, networking, referrals, and other creative recruiting strategies

Following up with applicants quickly and consistently—speed matters in recruiting!

Conducting phone screens and interviews to identify candidates who are the right fit for our company and our clients

Conducting reference checks and assisting with required background checks and employment screening

Collecting and maintaining all required caregiver credentials and documentation

Building strong relationships with caregivers throughout the hiring and onboarding process

Helping with caregiver retention, engagement, and communication

Monitoring recruiting platforms and resources daily and making sure no candidate falls through the cracks

Tracking recruiting activity and meeting established daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals
Scheduling & Client Support
- Assist with caregiver scheduling and maintaining appropriate coverage for client shifts

Communicate with caregivers regarding schedules, availability, and changes

Help coordinate coverage when caregivers are unavailable or schedules change

Provide professional and compassionate customer service to clients and their families

Gather information from prospective clients and schedule client intakes for the Administrator

Help ensure clients receive timely communication and excellent service
Team & Office Support
- Work closely with the owners and administrative team to help accomplish the day-to-day needs of the business

Be willing to jump in and help wherever needed—we are a team, and no one is above pitching in!

Assist with special projects, office organization, caregiver communication, and other administrative responsibilities

Help identify problems and take initiative to find solutions rather than waiting to be asked

Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation as assigned
The role will evolve as our company grows, and duties may change based on the needs of our clients, caregivers, and team.

Experience
- High School Diploma/GED required

1–2 years of recruiting experience preferred
-
Home Care, Healthcare, or Caregiving experience is a plus
-
Strong customer service, sales, recruiting, scheduling, or relationship-building experience is highly valued

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
After-hours on-call participation as assigned.
