Provides transportation for adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Vehicle Operator ensures the safety of the vehicle for operations, assists ambulatory and wheelchair-bound individuals in entering and exiting the vehicle, and ensures individuals are properly seated and secured, providing assistance when required. The Vehicle Operator is responsible for regulating heat, lighting, radio, and the ventilation system for the comfort of vehicle passengers. The Vehicle Operator is responsible for maintaining daily transportation logs and written reports; as well as ensuring that the vehicle interior and exterior is clean.
Minimum Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Three years of driving experience required.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is beneficial.
Licensure/Certification

Requires a clean Class B or Class C Driver’s License. Candidates who meet DOT and 19A requirements are preferred.

CDL with Passenger (P) endorsement preferred. Training may be provided to obtain CDL within six months of hire.

Must obtain and maintain valid CPR and First Aid certification.
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, internal equity, and location.
