Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Human Resource Coordinator to join our dynamic HR team. This pivotal role involves managing a broad spectrum of human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and workforce management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, strategic thinking, and a comprehensive understanding of HR best practices. As a senior member of the HR department, you will play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring legal compliance, and supporting organizational growth through effective human capital management.
Responsibilities
- Lead talent acquisition efforts by developing sourcing strategies, conducting interviews, and managing applicant tracking systems (ATS) to attract top talent.
- Oversee employee orientation programs to facilitate smooth onboarding and integration into the organization.
- Manage employee evaluation processes, including performance management systems and feedback mechanisms.
- Coordinate benefits administration, ensuring accurate enrollment, compliance with regulations such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), and effective communication of benefits options.
- Support change management initiatives by developing strategic plans that align with organizational goals.
- Administer workers' compensation claims and ensure adherence to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards.
- Facilitate training & development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Maintain HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data integrity through meticulous data entry and analysis using Excel and other HR systems like Workday or SAP SuccessFactors.
- Ensure regulatory compliance management across employment law, labor law, affirmative action planning, and HR legal compliance.
- Handle confidential information with utmost discretion while managing personnel administration tasks such as contracts and personnel records.
- Collaborate with leadership on organization design, succession planning, and workforce management strategies.
Skills
- Four years degree or equivalent in HR experience
- Extensive experience in human resources, benefits knowledge including HR sourcing, recruiting, and personnel administration.
- Proficiency in HR systems such as Workday, Oracle HCM, UltiPro, or PeopleSoft; strong Excel data analysis skills.
- In-depth knowledge of employment & labor law, FMLA regulations, OSHA standards, and HR legal compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability in project management with a focus on strategic planning and organizational design.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective employee relations and conflict management.
