Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Unarmed Security Officer with a CCB Card to protect property, assets, and personnel. This role requires a highly responsible individual capable of maintaining safety and security in various environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in armed security and cannibis security, with the ability to respond effectively to emergencies and maintain order.
Duties
- Monitor premises using CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure safety and security
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and conflict management skills
- Document incidents thoroughly through detailed reports
- Assist with loss prevention strategies to safeguard assets and inventory
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary during investigations or incidents
- Perform access control duties by verifying credentials and maintaining secure entry points
Skills
- Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is preferred
- Unarmed PILB Card and Vendor CCB Card is required
- Strong surveillance skills utilizing CCTV systems and other monitoring tools
- Excellent conflict management and de-escalation abilities
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security protocols
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- Strong communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally
- Ability to work independently with a high level of integrity and discretion
