The Lead Pastor serves as the spiritual leader of the congregation, providing vision, preaching, pastoral care, and leadership to staff, ministry teams and congregation.
Key Responsibilities:
Spiritual Leadership- provide vision, lead discipleship, model Christ-like character
Preaching and Teaching- Deliver biblically sound sermons and oversee teaching ministries in both Traditional and Contemporary Services
Leadership and Administration- Lead the staff, collaborate with Elders, oversee strategy and future planning of the church.
Pastoral Care- Provide counselling, officiate services (including wedding and funerals), participate in hospital and home visits.
Community Engagement- encourage outreach and represent the church in the community
Qualifications:
Education and Experience- Bachelor’s Degree with a preferred accredited Seminary or Bible College Degree; ministry experience
Spiritual and Personal- Strong Relationship with Christ, meets biblical leadership standards
Skills- Strong preaching, leadership and communication
Compensation- Commensurate with Experience
