Position Overview
Effectively managing and ensuring LTL Linehaul Operations. Creating efficient network and routing and profitability for the LTL linehaul Operations.

As the Director of Linehaul Operations, you will be responsible for supporting and monitoring the work of our Line Haul Associates at companies’ locations. You’ll be responsible for ensuring company standards and procedures are met, including financial targets.
Position Responsibilities
Management and supervision of the day-to-day operation of linehaul and corporate purchased transportation function.
To act as a mediator/facilitator on any issues relating to effective and efficient linehaul operations that might develop between carriers, customers, and other departments within the company.
Provide line-haul services at the highest level of quality at the lowest possible cost.
Develop and implement carrier LTL network that enhances company position in the marketplace and improve operating performance.
Meet or exceed all Client Service requirements for all Line Haul clients
Support, evaluate, mentor and manage Operations Managers in the successful operation of their locations.
Ensure all operations are operating in compliance with DOT and FMCSA requirements
Analyze and create statistical reports & financial Statements.
· Reviews all accidents and emergencies, and responsible for all follow up that the safety of driver and route needs have been met.
· Responds to any necessary customer complaint. This may include going on-site to visit with the customer.
· Provides coaching and development for Operations Managers.
Position Qualifications:
· Strong leadership skills with servant-leader approach
· Reliable professional who is proactive, self-motivated, and forward thinking
· Motivated to succeed in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask and quickly change direction
Four-year degree in transportation, logistics, or business preferred or equivalent experience.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience effectively managing purchased LTL/TL transportation, linehaul operations within expedited environment, or similar experience.
AS400 and data entry experience a plus
