JOB DESCRIPTION
BASIC FUNCTION: The CDL Driver provides professional, safe and reliable transportation for individuals or small to larger groups up to 40 passengers. The CDL Driver provides a high level of customer service by a thorough knowledge of route and surrounding areas, assisting in maintaining the cleanliness of scheduled vehicles and by ensuring all federal and state laws are being adhered to at all times. 99% of work will be within 25 miles of Pelham. Other areas you may travel are Lake Martin, Auburn, Tuscaloosa, Montgomery, Huntsville and Atlanta.
HOURS: We have several openings available from Part Time to Full time. All Shifts available including Monday - Friday daytime, evening shifts available and weekends available.
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 2 years of CDL driving experience.
Maintains up to date DOT Physical Card.
Must pass criminal background check. Must be able to pass a drug test.
Maintenance of a driving record sufficient to maintain insurance coverage under Rare Transportation, LLC.
Ability to interact and communicate with diverse individuals.
Excellent verbal communication skills required.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with other company staff.
Willing to apply Rare Transportation's standards and beliefs to the performance of job duties.
