We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our team as a Retail Support Staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, advising customers with their projects, completing transactions with a POS system and merchandising shelves. The candidate should be a self starter, approachable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent communication skills.
No retail experience required. On the job training is provided. There is room for growth in the company for the right candidate.
This job requires moderate lifting and being on your feet.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and answer any questions they may have.
- Operate cash registers and other point of sale equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized front counter.
- Process payments, returns, and exchanges accurately.
- Assist customers with locating items in the store.
- Stock and face merchandise on shelves.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure that all store policies are followed.
- Other duties as assigned
