Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to address client needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide post-session recommendations for ongoing wellness.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments performed, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information using medical terminology.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to all sanitation protocols and maintaining professional standards during each session.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification.
- Demonstrated experience in massage therapy including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly.
- Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly and empathetically.
- Proven customer service skills with a focus on creating positive client experiences.
- Ability to perform massages safely while maintaining professionalism in a clinical or spa environment
