Store Team Member (Part-Time & Full-Time)

What We're Looking For
- Part-time and full-time positions available
- Evening and weekend availability is required
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable handling feeder insects (crickets, mealworms, etc.)
- No fear of reptiles, birds, or small animals
- Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team

A Day in the Life
As a Store Team Member, you'll provide exceptional, neighborly service while helping pets and their people every day. You might:
- Help a neighbor find the perfect chew toy for their energetic terrier.
- Compare pet food ingredients for a concerned cat parent.
- Fit a wiggly dachshund with the right harness.
- Teach a future pet owner about responsible bird or reptile care.
- Stock shelves so every pet can find their favorite products.
- Ring up purchases with a smile.
- Feed and care for our in-store animals while keeping their habitats clean and healthy.
- Carry heavy bags of pet food, cat litter, aquariums, and other purchases to customers' vehicles.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service every day.
- Educate customers on pet nutrition, care, and products.
- Receive, unload, and stock merchandise safely.
- Operate the cash register accurately.
- Maintain clean, organized sales floors and animal habitats.
- Assist with inventory and merchandising.
- Work as part of a team to create a welcoming shopping experience.
