Job Title: Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals in need. If you are passionate about caregiving, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have experience in behavior management, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental
disabilities
-Aid in providing services as outlined in the individuals ISP
- Personal care, when needed, to help maintain the health and dignity of a
client
- Overseeing lunch and snack preparations
- Support individuals in participating in recreational activities, social events,
and community outings
- Document services, outcomes, transportation, UI/MUI
- Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
-Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals and their
families
-Maintain required training requirements
-Provide Non-Medical Transportation
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
State DSP training certificate (Will train)
Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification (offer training)
Successful clearance of background checks
Previous experience working with individuals with developmental
disabilities is preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Reliable and punctual
Basic computer skills
Valid driver license (with 6 points or less)
Must be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, reach, sit and walk for periods of
