We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. **MUST HAVE EXCEPTIONAL SKILLS WITH EXCEL** The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, bookkeeping, and taxes, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective cash flow management. The Accountant will work closely with various departments to provide insights and support for financial decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage journal entries and oversee the month-end close process.
- Perform cash flow analysis to forecast future financial trends and assist in budgeting.
- Provide insights on financial concepts related to public accounting practices.
- Assist in the preparation of documents related to wills, trusts, and estate law as needed.
- Collaborate with team members on securities law compliance and reporting requirements.
- Utilize Quicken for financial tracking and reporting purposes.
- Support the development of financial report writing for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, securities law, and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in Quicken or similar accounting software is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on detail-oriented tasks such as general ledger reconciliation and cash flow analysis.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong commitment to accuracy.
