Applicants must currently hold an active Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) credential issued by the Washington State Department of Health or have a recently expired credential that is eligible for reinstatement.
The credential must be verifiable through the Washington State Department of Health. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider applicants who have never held this credential.

MindSource Center is hiring School-Based Certified Behavior Technicians to support students ages 3–21 with autism and other developmental disabilities in classroom settings throughout Maple Valley, Washington.
Join our supportive team of CBTs and supervisors, where you will gain valuable hands-on experience that is transferable to a variety of helping professions. Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) are deeply invested in your success and provide personalized mentorship, ongoing training, and support in current behavioral practices.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a School-Based Certified Behavior Technician in Maple Valley, you will:
· Deliver high-quality behavioral services to autistic students and students with developmental disabilities in school settings
· Support students in working toward their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
· Help students participate successfully in classroom routines, academic activities, social opportunities, and other parts of the school day
· Engage and motivate students using positive reinforcement and evidence-based strategies
· Collect and enter data to monitor student progress
· Collaborate closely with your supervising BCBA and members of the student’s school team to maintain consistency and quality of care
· Receive training in Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) and Skills-Based Treatment (SBT)
· Build transferable skills for future careers in psychology, counseling, education, child development, or behavioral health
Qualifications
· Active Washington State Certified Behavior Technician credential or a recently expired credential that is eligible for reinstatement
· Credential must be verifiable through the Washington State Department of Health
· Interest or experience in supporting children and young adults with autism or developmental disabilities
· Excellent communication skills and a strong willingness to learn
· High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Please note: Applicants who do not currently hold, and have never previously held, a Washington State CBT credential will not be considered for this position.
Pay and Benefits
· Billable rate: $28–$35 per hour, depending on experience
· All client-facing work is paid at the employee’s billable rate
· Non-billable rate: $25 per hour, primarily for occasional trainings and staff meetings
· The majority of scheduled hours are client-facing and paid at the billable rate
