Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dependable Busser / Server Assistant to support our food and beverage team. This role is essential to the overall dining experience, ensuring our restaurants remain clean, organized, and operating smoothly. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in delivering great service behind the scenes.
Compensation:
$10 per hour plus tips
Key Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to maintain table availability
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and surrounding areas
- Assist servers with delivering food, beverages, bread service, and guest needs
- Refill water, tea, and other beverages as needed
- Transport dirty dishes, glassware, and silverware to dishwashing areas
- Stock service stations with silverware, glassware, linens, and condiments for all meal periods
- Support overall flow of service to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Basic understanding of table settings and restaurant service flow preferred
- Ability to understand and respond to basic guest requests in English
- Ability to read and follow safety instructions and procedures
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and navigate a busy dining environment
- Ability to push or transport up to 200 lbs using carts or equipment
- Previous restaurant or hotel experience is a plus, but not required
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
