Expedition Expectations (Position Overview)
As a Mid-Market Account Manager, you will be the strategic partner and primary point of contact for a portfolio of mid-sized corporate clients. You'll be responsible for driving client satisfaction, retention, and growth by understanding their travel needs, delivering insights, and optimizing their travel programs.
Passport to Success (Responsibilities)
- Serve as the day-to-day contact for a portfolio of mid-market clients.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans tailored to each client's business goals.
- Conduct regular business reviews to analyze travel trends, program performance, and savings opportunities.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities in collaboration with product and sales teams.
- Act as an internal advocate for clients, coordinating with operations, technology, and supplier teams to ensure service excellence.
- Maintain high client satisfaction scores and meet retention targets.
- Support implementation of new services or solutions.
- Stay current with travel industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Going the Extra Mile (Qualifications)
- 3–5 years of experience in account management, preferably in the corporate travel industry or a related SaaS/service environment.
- Strong understanding of travel program management and industry tools (GDS, OBTs, travel reporting platforms, etc.).
- Proven track record in client relationship management and revenue growth.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Travel/Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
