Warehouse and Sales Support person needed for The Tile Guy, a family owned and operated flooring store with over 35 years in business in Austin. We are a small company so every employee is valuable to us. We are looking for someone who can work independently and with a group, has good people skills, and is detailed oriented.
General Duties
- Assist customers when picking up their orders, process payments
- Track orders and keep orders flowing through fulfillment cycle
- Load up customers (unload and load 60lb boxes)
- Keep warehouse organized, clean
- Organize and file samples
- Assist sales people as needed (shelve samples, ring up customers, stage orders, etc)
- Drive company truck for last minute errands and returns
- Check voice mail, answer phone calls
- Training on Quickbooks provided
Requirements:
- Good people skills - Our motto is "Friendly, Helpful, Knowledgeable"
- Able to load and unload multiple boxes weighing up to 60lbs daily
- Clean driving record. Clean drug test.
- Computer skills and Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus but not necessary.
- Flooring knowledge is helpful but not required. We will train the right person.
Work hours: M-F 9-5pm, Sat: 9-1pm
PTO on major holidays and when the shop closes for vacation in late December and early January. Exact dates TBA, but the shop closes annually around the last week of December through early January.
