Cosmetic Production & R&D Engineer
Biotechnology & AI-Driven Ingredient Innovation
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize cosmetic formulations for skincare, personal care, and beauty products.
- Apply AI and machine learning to predict ingredient efficacy, safety, and formulation performance.
- Research and discover novel bioactive ingredients through computational biology and biotechnology.
- Develop sustainable biomanufacturing processes using fermentation, cell culture, and enzyme technologies.
- Collaborate with data scientists, chemists, and product development teams to accelerate innovation.
- Evaluate ingredient stability, regulatory compliance, and commercialization opportunities.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies in AI, synthetic biology, and cosmetic science.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Biotechnology, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Bioengineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related disciplines.
- Experience in cosmetic formulation, ingredient development, biotechnology, or product innovation.
- Knowledge of AI applications in life sciences or data-driven R&D is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with fermentation, bioactive extraction, molecular biology, or computational modeling is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
