Job Title: Molding Operator (2nd Shift)

Duration: 3 Months (Potential extension up to 6 months based on business needs and vacation coverage)
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $30.00/hr W2 (Depending on experience and location)
Shift: 2nd Shift | 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Shift Differential: Additional $1.50/hr for 2nd Shift
Position Summary
The Molding Operator is responsible for operating hydraulic, robotic, and manual molding equipment to manufacture products according to established production and quality standards. This role requires knowledge of molding materials, pressing techniques, measuring tools, and inspection processes to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements.
The ideal candidate will have manufacturing or production experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate hydraulic, robotic, and manual molding presses and equipment.
- Apply established molding methods, procedures, and techniques to compact materials and form products.
- Produce molded products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Perform basic density testing on initial molded pieces to verify tolerances and conformance requirements.
- Utilize a variety of measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and tamping guns.
- Inspect molded products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
- Monitor production processes and identify any quality or process issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Meet established production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of molding materials and product characteristics.
- Ability to distinguish between material mixes, pressing techniques, and finishing methods.
- Experience using measuring devices and inspection tools.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and tamping equipment.
- Understanding of manufacturing, molding, or production processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Experience
- Manufacturing or production experience.
- Experience operating hydraulic, robotic, or manual presses.
- Experience in molding, casting, fabrication, assembly, or industrial operations.
- Familiarity with quality inspections and measurement procedures.
Work Environment
- Industrial manufacturing environment.
- Frequent use of production machinery and equipment.
- Standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive motion throughout the shift.
- Fast-paced production setting with quality and productivity expectations.

- Duration: 3-month contract with potential extension up to 6 months.
- Pay Rate: $20.00–$30.00/hr W2 depending on experience and assignment.
- Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM.

- Candidates must complete a Math Assessment and submit a resume for consideration.
- Manufacturing, molding, machine operation, assembly, fabrication, or industrial production experience is preferred.
